LaneSystems' technical skills cover a wide range of server platforms, including support and configuration of full cluster fail over facility and domain replication over a large WAN.

On-Site Technicians

Our tech-savvy problem solvers deliver outstanding IT support directly at client locations. And, due to the nature of our clients, our technicians are all DBS and BPSS checked.

Tailored IT Support Contracts

Working alongside our Business Partners, we provide advice to help improve how the IT system should be ran and administered. Providing a solution for a problem or a potential problem does not necessarily mean additional costs, but ensures efficient running of any infrastructure. Our annual fully inclusive IT Support Contracts give our clients full confidence they require in IT, knowing their professional IT Business Partner is simply a phone call away at all times.

The support contracts are transparent and provide a full audit trail on reported issues:

  • When it was addressed
  • When it was actioned

By working WITH our clients, we achieve more, we're your business partners. When not working, I enjoy drag racing, track days and snowboarding.

GALINA LANE

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Galina manages the company’s accounts and finance, and oversees the practical running of the business. At home, Galina loves to spend time with her family and pets, and enjoys walking and exploring the North East beauty spots.

Operations Director

MARK SHIELDS

Mark co-ordinates the installation & migration of all network infrastructures. Development of his technical team provides key skills for his team. 'Fix it before it breaks, is Mark's ethos whilst delivering the best possible service. Mark is a martial arts expert, with a Brown Belt in Taekwon-do, and is reconstructing Midget – his beloved old Hawaiian Blue MG.

Security Operations Engineer

LEE HOROBIN

Our WatchGuard Certified Cyber Security expert joined the team here at Fishburn in late 2017. Lee keeps pace with the latest advancements and alerts to keep your valuable data safe. Out of the office, Lee is passionate about travel. He spent three months trekking across Asia, and more recently when in Peru, he experienced the longest zip wire in the world!

CALLUM PEARSON

Callum joined us as an Apprentice Technician in 2016 & is now a recognised & reassuring voice helping partners. Callum loves animals, sharing his home with gorgeous Staffies, Lego and Jensen.

Technical Team Manager

KEVIN WHITELOCK

Another local lad, Kevin is famed with the clients for his help with anything from Excel Spreadsheets through to installing our partners PCs. Kevin loves the Great British Bake-Off only slightly less than he loves a good biscuit itself.

Security Technician

MATTHEW PALEY

Matthew successfully completed the Level 4 in Cyber Security, and has since been offered a permanent contract as a 1st Line Technician. Matthew is a force to be reckoned with holding black belts in martial arts including Muay Thai. His sister is also a semi professional boxer!

Office Manager

Claire Freeman

Claire joined LaneSystems in 2021 as the newest member of our Admin team. Having 22 years of experience in the retail sector, she’s already made an extremely strong start using her customer service skills to give a new perspective on how best we can put the client first. When not at work Claire enjoys trips out to the country with her partner in their caravan. Claire also loves attending classic car events with her Classic Mini ‘Matilda’.

Jordan Parkin

Jordan joined the LaneSystems team in 2019 as a 1st Line technician and has since moved through the ranks to become a Technical Support Supervisor. Another of our in house car enthusiasts, when not at work, Jordan likes to attend Drift Events

Administrative Assistant

Lisa Jackson

Lisa Joined LaneSystems in August 2022. She brings a wealth of Admin knowledge and experience with her. In her spare time Lisa likes motorbikes, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Field Technician

Damian Macdonald

Damian joined LaneSystems in July 2023 as a Field Technician, bringing with him lots of knowledge gained from previous IT employment. He likes solving problems and working with technology in general. In his spare time, he likes playing video games as well as travelling to new places and he hopes to continue his travels very soon.

Accounts Department

Elaine Pickering

Elaine joined LaneSystems in June 2023 in our accounts department, bringing with her a wealth of 25 years of experience of accounts. When at home or in her free time she enjoys spending time with her 3 Grandchildren (they have her run ragged), she also enjoys cooking up different concoctions (some are nice, she tells us😊) in the kitchen and going out for long walks with her partner.

Shaw recently joined our team at LaneSystems as a Service Desk Technician. With a passion for technology and a knack for troubleshooting, Shaw is always eager to help out wherever he can. Having served in the RAF for 8 years, Shaw developed invaluable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. Now, he's applying his military experience to the world of technology, eager to learn and contribute in new ways.

Evan Drake is an IT Service Desk Apprentice at LaneSystems, where he specialises in communicating with clients and resolving their IT issues. Evan is dedicated to providing exceptional technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and timely assistance. With a passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning, Evan is a valuable asset to the LaneSystems team. Outside of work, Evan enjoys staying active by going to the gym and has a keen interest in cars. His hobbies reflect his drive for excellence and his enthusiasm for both physical fitness and automotive engineering.
